Gina Burgess

Between 1998 and 2004, Gina taught weekly patchwork and quilting classes from her home studio for approximately 25 students. In 2005, she started a weekly class at the Port Noarlunga Arts Centre which continues to the present day. The Gallery Quilters, as the group is called, is an active and enthusiastic collection of women who have made strong friendships through their common love of quilting.

During this time, Gina has also taught extensively throughout metropolitan Adelaide (both for groups and shops) as well as regularly teaching in country Souh Australia and Victoria. She has taught for the Quilters' Guild of South Australia's (QGSA) live in camp, Quilt Encounter on five separate occasions including 2003, 2009 and 2011.

Gina has worked on the QGSA's exhibition committee and is currently convenor of the QGSA Judging Panel. She is also an active member of the Valuation Panel.
